Alright so there is the red quadrant and the black quadrant.

Within the red quadrant are matespritship and moirallegience.
Matespritship is the closest thing to a human relationship. The chat symbol used is the heart . Now, troll relationships are not based off of love, but rather hate and pity. So when two trolls want to be each others matesprit, they feel pity towards another. This is one of the pail quadrants.

Moirallegience is BASICALLY bromance, but not. Again, based off of pity. It is that two trolls basically have each other's backs. They pity the fact that troll A has to have someone watch after them, so troll B takes on to watch after them, and in turn, troll A watches troll B's back. As said by Kanaya: "It Just Means Theres Got To Be Someone Around To Keep An Eye On Them", and despite how we see it as a friendship as humans, trolls see it as a type of romance. The chat symbol for this is the diamond <>.

The two relationships that fall into the black quadrant are Kismesissitude and Auspitice.

Kismesissitude is a relationship solely based off of HATE. The chat symbol for this is the spade < though <}< also appears in the story. When two trolls hate each other with a burning passion, they can relate that to a relationship. While trolls CAN just regularly hate each other, this is by far different. It's a hate so strong that a troll can feel sexually attracted to the one they hate. This is the other pail quadrant.

Auspitice is a special kind of relationship in which a third person is involved, yet Troll C is completely platonically involved. The chat symbol is the club c3<. It is basically a kismesissitude in which there is a mediator. Troll C keeps troll A and B in track, so that their hate does not end up killing each other. Again, Troll C is not romantically involved with either troll A or troll B.

PAIL QUADRANTS:
Mentioned in Matespritship and Kismesissitude, is a quadrant where pails are involved. To reproduce trolls us pails/buckets, which can only be filled in those two quadrants.
